How do I get to the Old City from here? eikh a-ni ma-gi-a mi-po la-ir ha-a-ti-ka? איך אני מגיעה מפה לעיר העתיקה?
Are you driving or walking? be-ne-si-a o be-ha-li-kha? בנסיעה או בהליכה?
Walking. ha-li-kha. הליכה.
We're in Sacher Park, which is about 3 km away from the Old City.a-nakh-nu be-gan sa-ker, shlo-sha ki-lo-me-ter be-e-rekh me-ha-ir ha-a-ti-ka. אנחנו בגן סאקר, 3 ק"מ בערך מהעיר העתיקה.
I didn't realize that I was so far away. lo ya-da-ti she-ani kol kakh re-kho-ka. לא ידעתי שאני כ"כ רחוקה.
Don't worry, it's a nice day. al tid-ag-i, ze yom ya-fe. אל תדאגי, זה יום יפה.
Enjoy the nice weather. te-ha-ni mi-me-zeg ha-a-vir ha-ya-fe. תהני ממזג האוויר היפה.
You're right. at tso-de-ket. את צודקת.
So how do I get there? az eikh a-ni ma-gi-a le-sham? אז איך אני מגיעה לשם?
From here, walk to that street over there and turn right.mi-po, lekh-i la-re-khov ha-hu ve-tif-ni ya-mi-na.מפה, לכי לרחוב ההוא ותפני ימינה.
That's Betsalel street. ze re-khov be-tsa-lel. זה רחוב בצלאל.
Walk straight for about 1 km. lekh-i ya-shar be-e-rekh ki-lo-me-ter e-khad. לכי ישר בערך ק"מ אחד.
Okay. o-kei. אוקיי.
At the end of the street, turn left, then turn right onto Hillel street.ba-sof ha-re-khov, tif-ni smo-la, ve-az ya-mi-na la-re-khov hil-el. בסוף הרחוב, תפני שמאלה, ואז ימינה לרחוב הלל.
Keep walking until you run into Mamilla Mall. tam-shikh-i la-le-khet ad she-ta-gi-i la-kan-yon ma-mi-la. תמשיכי ללכת עד שתגיעי לקניון ממילא.
Walk through the Mall, and the Old City is on the other side. tam-shikh-i de-rekh ha-kan-yon ve-ha-ir ha-a-ti-ka tih-ye be-tsi-do ha-she-ni. תמשיכי דרך הקניון והעיר העתיקה תהיה בצידו השני.
Enter through Jaffa Gate. ti-kan-si de-rekh sha-ar ya-fo. תיכנסי דרך שער יפו.
