Joke 10 - Cheap Suit

English Transliteration Hebrew
A man was being sold a ridiculously cheap suit. makh-ru le-ish kha-li-fa zo-la be-ra-ma me-gu-khe-khet.
“But the left arm is a lot longer than the right arm,” he complained. a-val ha-shar-vul ha-sma-li har-be yo-ter a-rokh me-ha-shar-vul ha-ye-ma-ni, hu hit-lo-nen.
“That’s why the suit is such a bargain,” the salesclerk explained. la-khen ha-kha-li-fa ha-zot bim-khir me-tsi-a, his-bir ish ha-me-khi-rot.
“Just raise your left shoulder up a little, like this, and tuck the lapel under your chin a bit, like this.” rak ta-rim et ha-ka-tef ha-sma-lit shel-kha ktsat, ka-kha, ve-takh-nis et ha-tsa-va-ron mi-ta-khat la-san-ter shel-kha, ka-kha.
“But the right leg is way too short,” argued the customer. a-val ha-re-gel ha-ye-ma-nit har-be yo-ter ktsa-ra, hit-va-ke-akh ha-la-ko-akh.
“No problem,” the salesclerk answered. ein be-a-ya, a-na ish ha-me-khi-rot.
“Just keep your right knee always bent a little, walk like this, and no one will notice. rak te-kho-fef et ha-be-rekh ha-ye-ma-nit shel-kha ktsat be-o-fen ka-vu-a, te-lekh ka-kha ve-af e-khad lo ya-sim lev.
That’s why this suit is only twenty dollars.” zot ha-si-ba she-ha-kha-li-fa ha-zot o-la rak es-rim do-lar.
Finally, the fellow bought the suit, raised his left shoulder into the air, tucked the lapel under his chin, bent his right knee, and limped out of the store toward his car. le-va-sof, ha-ba-khur ka-na et ha-kha-li-fa, he-rim et ha-ka-tef ha-sma-lit ma-la la-a-vir, hikh-nis et ha-tsa-va-ron mi-ta-khat la-san-ter, ko-fef et ha-be-rekh ha-ye-ma-nit, ve-tsa-la ha-khuts-a me-ha-kha-nut le-khi-vun ha-me-kho-nit she-lo.
Two doctors walked by and noticed him. “Look at that poor crippled fellow,” the first doctor said to the second. shnei ro-fim av-ru sham ve-hiv-khi-nu bo. tir-e et ha-ne-khe ha-mis-ken, a-mar ha-ro-fe ha-ri-shon la-she-ni.
“Yeah,” answered the second doctor. “But doesn’t that suit fit great?” ken, a-na ha-ro-fe ha-she-ni. a-val ha-kha-li-fa she-lo nir-et ne-he-dar lo?
